Schwule Filmwoche Freiburg e.V.

Schwule Filmwoche Freiburg e.V. is the volunteer association that organizes the Schwule Filmwoche, a queer film festival in Freiburg that started in 1985 and is often called the oldest of its kind in Germany. Each edition screens a week of international queer features and shorts, usually with guest talks and parties alongside. The Kandelstraße address is the association's base. Screenings take place in local cinemas, so check schwule-filmwoche.de for dates and venues.
