Eilenriede (Georgengarten edge)

The Eilenriede, Hannover's vast city forest, has a long-established gay cruising tradition along its quieter paths, particularly toward the Zoo and the fringe of the Georgengarten. It is busiest on warm evenings and weekends. As with any outdoor spot, keep to the discreet edges, respect other park users, and be aware of your surroundings after dark. Germany's legal climate is relaxed, but ordinary caution and courtesy apply.
