Pension Donatus

Pension Donatus… a real winner! My wife and I have traveled to many countries around the world and stayed in hotels and guesthouses. But Donatus in Pirna is simply amazing. We were greeted very warmly by the receptionist, while our car magically disappeared into the underground garage. Our room, number 2, was on the ground floor with its own small terrace and a designated smoking area. The room left nothing to be desired. The breakfast buffet was unbeatable. The room was perfectly equipped. The buffet left nothing to be desired. Scrambled or fried eggs were available upon request, along with a wide variety of breads and rolls, cold cuts, ham, various cheeses, homemade jams and salads, a variety of teas (no tea bags), coffee, juices, and much more. Special requests were accommodated. The staff, starting with Mandy and Claudia, were incredibly polite and friendly. We could go on and on praising them, but I recommend… see for yourselves! A very pretty little hotel in a lovingly restored old building with lots of charm! Located right in the heart of the old town, it's a very comfortable place to stay, the breakfast is excellent, and egg dishes are freshly prepared to order. Parking is a bit unusual, but Europe's only underground automated garage hides your car somewhere in the basement and magically reappears it the next morning 😁. I'd gladly come back again; I really enjoyed my stay 👏

Highly recommended! Stylish and clean rooms, very friendly staff, parking lot Q1 practically on-site and secure, varied and ample breakfast, centrally located, and thanks to the guest card, you can easily explore the surrounding area by bus and train. It was perfect for us. Thank you!

A highly recommended guesthouse. Everything is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We've stayed there before and will be back very soon.

Perfect breakfast with organic and regional products. Very friendly breakfast service. Clean and very comfortable room. I will definitely be back :-))
