The small hotel is located in an office building on the busy pedestrian zone. The location might be quite good for shopping – although we were there on a Sunday – and the harbor can be reached via a pleasant 20-minute walk through the park. However, there are several large bars/restaurants below the balcony that are open until late at night and are very noisy. Unfortunately, the balcony doors don't close very well. In one of the two apartments, the roller shutter was broken, and the balcony light couldn't be turned off, making the room very bright at night. When we mentioned this to the staff member the next day, she simply said that it was an old building. The instruction to switch off the boiler's fuse before showering for safety reasons wasn't exactly confidence-inspiring either. The bathroom in the one-room apartment was quite nicely designed. Otherwise, everything was rather dated. Breakfast at the café across the street was very good.
'I stayed for one night in Kalamata and my experience was very pleasant. The room was clean and neat, the staff was polite and helpful, and the location was quite convenient. Although my stay was short, I felt comfortable and would choose it again for a future visit.

Wonderful rooms on the central square of Kalamata with all the amenities. It has incredible soundproofing, while it is located right above the panic of people, passers-by and coffee when you close the windows you can't hear anything, anatomical mattress very relaxing, cosmote tv!!!, kettle, Nespresso machine, coffee capsules, tea, sugar, water both inside and outside the fridge and other things that make the stay very comfortable and pleasant. And one last thing and very important, constant information via email and sms from the accommodation for clarifications and early check in.
