Nybegynnerkurs + practica

A five-week beginner course in queer tango organized by Oslo Tango Queer, focusing on breaking traditional heteronormative gender roles in Argentine tango. Participants will learn techniques for leading and following, explore dance fundamentals like axes, communication, and turns, and practice partner exchanges without regard to gender or roles. The course is suitable for those new to tango or with some experience, and aims to make dance more playful and inclusive. The sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays from August 26 to September 23, 2026, from 17:00 to 18:30, with open practica until 19:30 at FRI, Mariboes gate 13, Oslo.
