A beginner's course in queer tango organized by Oslo Tango Queer, aiming to break away from traditional heteronormative gender roles in Argentine tango. Participants will learn techniques for leading and following, explore dance movements like ochos, crosses, and giros, and experience partner exchanges without regard to gender or roles. The course spans five weeks, with sessions on August 26, September 2, 9, 16, and 23, from 17:00 to 18:30, followed by an open practica until 19:30. The venue is FRI, Mariboes gate 13, Oslo. No prior dance experience is necessary, and participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and soft shoes. Registration and payment are via a provided Google Forms link and Vipps.
