Papagayo is a gay bar at number 31 on Calle Santa Faz, the main street of Benidorm's Old Town gay village. Its main asset is the terrace: outdoor tables with a view of the street, which is where much of the village's evening people-watching happens. The crowd is mixed LGBTQ+, a blend of regulars, expats and visitors, and the tone is relaxed, with conversation and drinks rather than dancing. Reviews average 4.7 from about 240. It opens Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30pm, until 1:30am on weeknights and 2:30am on Friday and Saturday, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Bears Bar and KUMA are a few doors along.

Very nice place.... With an eye for details what the decoration is concerned. Nice terrace. Very friendly and warm welcome by the owner and the waiter. We will come back.

They're one of the best things about Benidorm—such great neighbors, their place is so welcoming, they have a beautiful terrace, and the prices are good. They've been in the neighborhood for years, and everyone loves them. But we love them the most.
