Leonardo Hotel Bristol City

Leonardo Hotel Bristol City is a large modern hotel at 3 Temple Way, between Temple Meads station and Old Market, which makes it the closest big hotel to Bristol's gay village: the Old Market Tavern and Bear Bar are about ten minutes' walk away. It's a mainstream chain hotel with standard rooms, a bar and breakfast. Google rates it 4.6 from about 1,450 reviews. It's a practical base if you're arriving by train and plan to spend your evenings in Old Market.
