Great little pub. Nicely decorated and great location. Perfect for a pint after a walk round the city of norwich or mousehold heath

Visited as out the area and training a course up in Norwich. Went in for a drink. Male member of bar staff didn’t really have any conversation welcoming into the venue or general chit chat with myself as the customer. Does not leave a good feeling considering I left after my drink. Customer service does not go a long way especially when your quiet on a week night and was more complaining about how he has not had a customer for a few hours.. again not professional considering I come from a pub background.

Advertised on booking.com as a hotel, it's actually a pub. Advertised on their own website as having a fairly comprehensive menu for snacks and evening meals, the reality is they stopped cooking a while ago and staff were surprised to see it still on the site. Advertised as fantastic breakfast, the reality was bread and jam with cereals that you prepare and serve yourselves ( could have done that at home) specifically asked via email for somewhere quiet, reality was a room adjacent to a very busy roundabout, sirens and loud cars/motorbikes all night long. All in all not a pleasant experience and would not repeat.

A really great place to stay! While it is in a roundabout the rooms are extremely well insulated for noise. A very comprehensive continental breakfast was supplied as well and the manager of the facility was super helpful!

We stayed the weekend with 6 people over 2 rooms (3 in each). It was so nice, clean, and comfortable. The shower was nice and strong, and plenty of bits for breakfast - including local bread from Kett's Hill bakery next door. It was also very quiet, considering the pub next door and the adjacency to the city. The pub is also lovely, friendly clientele and Tom behind the bar (he also showed us the room) was so sweet and kind. The pub and hotel are perfectly located, with a short walk into town, the train station, and the football stadium. The parking was also conveniently located, and the lodging area was secure. The price was great for the weekend, we would definitely stay again!

Super accommodation option. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable, with lots of little handy extras for breakfast. Thank you!
