Viña del Mar Pride March (Marcha del Orgullo Viña del Mar)

Viña del Mar holds its own Pride march, separate from Valparaíso's September march. It is organised by the Mesa de Diversidades y Disidencias Sexuales de Viña del Mar, a coalition of local groups, with the city council as a partner. In 2025 it ran on Saturday 5 July under the slogan "Existimos con orgullo, resistimos con amor", and in 2026 on Saturday 27 June under "Con Orgullo y Resistencia, Nuestros Derechos no se Negocian".

Both years the march gathered at 14:00 at the Reloj de Flores, the flower clock below Cerro Castillo, and finished at Plaza Sucre, with performances at the end. In 2026 the municipal Oficina de Diversidades y Disidencias Sexuales and Agrupación Kultura Disidente ran a queer artists' market, the Mercadito Disidente, in Plaza Sucre from 10:00 to 19:00.

Expect a political march with banners from trans groups, HIV organisations and students rather than floats. The 2027 date had not been announced at the time of writing; going by the last two years, late June or early July is likely, so watch local news in May.
