G Wet Sauna

The staff is pedantic and rude. Terrible service. The facilities smell awful. It's clear they don't disinfect. The showers have freezing cold water, and the doors and tiles are broken, posing a hazard. The prices are exorbitant for the poor service. They charge extra for everything, even paying by card. The parking lot is tiny, and they charge you for street parking. They don't provide sandals. This is the first country I've visited where customers have to wait in line for drinks. The bartender is slow and vulgar.

The place smells bad. It's a place you shouldn't visit. I don't recommend it at all.

I just returned from the 10th anniversary celebration. It was great. The DJ’s were excellent. I have visited here several times in the past and always had a good time. The staff has always been friendly. If you do not have your own sandals you can buy them there. 3 levels of fun. I recommend going. After 4 during the week and of course weekends are best.

They say it's until 10pm but they close the place at 830pm. The place is nasty. The people who goes there is just old and not attractive at all. Very bad experience for paying 25 USD. Better price in Berlin, Lisbon or even Medellín, Bogotá and San José for much more quality. Do not go there. You have to pay your own sandals. Or even if you pay with card, they will charge you more. Horrible place to go. This is a scam.

Poor customer service. The receptionist was rude and lacked any customer service skills. The place looked neglected and needs maintenance to improve the smell. The facilities need to be upgraded and brought up to standard. Promotions should be clearer to avoid misunderstandings. I didn't like the place and it was a very bad experience. I hope they can improve.

Excellent, clean, big, and filled with hot, friendly local and foreigners. It's impossible not to have a great time. Remember to bring sandals or you will have to buy them at the entrance. Keep in mind to look for the bell box outside. Ring and wait for them to open the gate door. My only gripe is the unfriendly front desk person. Other than that, it is definitely worth many visits!!! I won't say it is the best sauna in GC. Since It's the only one we attended. We stayed in zone 10, so it was just a 5 minute, easy, safe walk. The others were not far, but with the horrific traffic, they are like 40 minutes away. Maybe next time we will try them. Last word of advice, since the traffic is so bad in GC. You will find the best time to go during the week is right after work. That's when most locals go before heading home. Weekends are happening all day. Have fun!

The staff are arrogant and act as if they think you're desperate to go to their stinking sauna, as if they don't know there are other, cleaner options with friendly staff.

Beware scammers!!! When they advertise free parties with a flyer, they are never free, they always make you pay and tell you that what is free is two drinks. The guy at the entrance is extremely rude and rude to customers. The typical illiterate who believes he has power (constantly humiliates clients and threatens them). The facilities are only 30% renovated, the rest are a real garbage, dirt everywhere (they don't clean at all) in the shower area there is mold everywhere and they only have two with hot water, the rest have cold water in the wet area no shower soap and what is broken stays that way for years. Terrible maintenance by the owners, the towels they have smell bad and are very old, the massage area is cold, dark and dirty. Please future customers beware the receptionist will always try to deceive you by charging you an extra cost for paying by credit card, condoms, lubricants and sandals also have an extra cost. In short, this sauna is garbage.

The facilities were very clean and the place was very presentable; my only complaint was that one of the employees treated me badly with obscene language.

Very clean and pleasant. Comfortable. Good atmosphere. I recommend arriving between 4 pm and 7:30 pm, which is when the atmosphere is best.

Visited G Wet Sauna three times while on vacation in January of 2020. Decent facility. Locker rooms on the ground level. Bar, showers, lounge area, 3 cabins and the wet & dry sauna are on the 2nd floor. There are 2 really nice separate outside areas on the rooftop deck - one on each side of the building. The remainder of the 3rd floor is a BIG dark room with sitting benches around 3 walls of the room with a bed that's probably larger than a king size bed in the middle. The mattress was at least 6 inches thick. Very clean, comfortable and not worn out. I visited on New Year's day and the Friday and Saturday after. None of the afternoon / evenings were very busy. Saturday early evening / night was down right disappointing. There's only 1 other sauna in Guatemala City and G Wet is apparently the best thing in town. I would definitely check out the other option if I went back to Guatemala City.
