The Jim Toy Community Center is Ann Arbor's longtime LGBTQ+ organization, named for Michigan gay-rights pioneer Jim Toy. Although it gave up its physical office on Braun Court in 2021, the volunteer-run nonprofit continues to operate, running community programming and organizing the annual Ann Arbor Pride festival each summer. It functions as the central LGBTQ+ community hub for the Ann Arbor area, connecting residents and visitors with resources, events and advocacy.
