Out of the Closet - Ansley

They seem to have a good turnover of goods and loads to choose from. I find something every time I go. Store is stuffed with things but clean and organized. And their prices are still “thrift store” prices , not goodwill prices.

I understand they selling products for profit but they have to remember even if it was new when donated they shouldn't be selling at or above retail. Even when i showed them it was too high they still struggle admitting it was too high by saying it was new out the box. I shopped them at their old location many times but I never seen prices so damn high on donated items. I won't shop there anymore im done i will tell others to do the same.

I loved this thrift store. We were greeted by the employees as soon as we walked in, and were told of the sales for the day. I found the prices to be more than fair and they towards a good cause. I definitely will be back.

I wish I could love this place. Saw ads on FB asking for donations. I was like bet! As a Queer woman myself, I decided to donate here instead of going to other places as it says proceeds help LBTQIA kids. I love the kids. But huntea the customer service on donating is a BIG miss. Pulled up and my items are together and neatly bagged. Thankfully this was not the big haul I’m preparing for later this summer, cause not a one person assists even after being asked. So unfortunately I’ll have to go to other businesses because they come to the vehicle and WE unload together. It’s just a basic courtesy to me, as you are getting items delivered to your door for free that you will make a profit off of. Come on y’all, let’s do better.

My gawd. Came just to donate and was bombarded by rudeness at the door. "Donation cut off time is 5:30" ( it's 6pm, they close at 7), but we'll take it. At that moment I had second thoughts of taking my stuff in (bag of clothes, shoes, household items and an office chair). With a lack of better judgement, I took it in and was confronted with "we don't need no chairs, we'll take the bag." What a horrible 1st impression. I can say I'll never be back to donate or shop!! Not a bit of customer service was extended to me. But the white man (im a black man) buying shoes was treated so nicely and a white woman brought in donations after me... was she greeted with a donation cut off time??? I think not!! Sad
