DO NOT… I REPEAT DO NOT stay here!!! They have an infestation of BED BUGS

I checked in yesterday and booked the king room with downtown and balcony view. The view also is directly in front of U-HAUL parking which most photos don’t capture. When we first checked into our room, it smelled like complete cigarettes the moment we went in (702) so we switched immediately. The elevator smelled like cigarette and marijuana too. They said it was just cleaned so I don’t know why that wasn’t flagged. I’m traveling with my two year old so it was non starter and I hate smoke The reason for the low review is the non existent service. The front desk is constantly on their personal cellphone. I asked the cleaning to come and pick up trash but we didn’t need a room cleaning. I was busy with my daughter and she took my newly ordered bag of restaurant lunch takeout $50 worth of food and threw it in the garbage. I didn’t not realize until after I showered my toddler and myself that our bag of food was missing. I went out to the hallway and it was inside the garbage bag. I called the front desk and she said there was nothing she could do until Monday when her manager was in, and it was only Friday. Also the AC is terrible and all the buttons are broken. I would not return unless you want a janky experience and no accountability

Very disappointing experience. The customer service was terrible from start to finish (greeting or helping with basics). The AC was exactly near the bed and was blowing directly to my face and wasn’t able to adjust it. The bathroom is right next to bed and no privacy for a couple to do it privately without hearing anything. When I discovered there was no shower gel in the room, I called the front desk and politely asked if someone could bring some up. Instead of assisting a guest, I was told to come down and get it myself For a hotel, basic amenities and reasonable customer service should be expected. The staff seemed uninterested in helping and made what should have been a simple request unnecessarily frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be staying here again.

The worst experience, I was eager to leave early. This was the rudest staff, we had no body wash in the shower and they refused to bring us soap and body wash to our room several times until I mentioned I would make an official complaint. They wanted me to go down to the lobby to fetch them myself but eventually did bring the body wash. The hotel is next to a Uhaul storage facility and it gets loud at7am on the weekend so you can’t even sleep in. TheAC is right next to the bed blowing cold air in your face with no way to adjust the airflow.

Who needed a clean room? Affordable near where my son was staying and hotel the blue was perfect. Since the rooms were spacious enough for two people and I enjoyed the pine service from the owners.

This place needs a reprice or upgrades. I had stayed at this hotel in 2013. When I arrived this week, it looked like not much had been done: the glass door that was the bathroom door was gone and in its place a blue door (it was ok but the blue covering was scratched in places where you could see the wood under it), in 2013 you would fill out a card that was collected by 10 pm with a breakfast option (muffin/donut/croissant etc and you would get a small juice option) that is no longer available and you have to search for stores to get something to eat (DEFINITELY recommend the Organic Valley Deli). The other issue was the refrigerator (wasn’t cold at all) and the HVAC system (the indicator light labels were gone so we never knew what mode it was in). I thought I have the AC (it was rather warm in the room) but you could not tell because it never got cool no matter what light was lit. We had to prop the balcony door open (with our sneakers) which made it really loud. If you are staying for a night or two the room we were in was adequate…but the 5 nights we stayed was a lot for that room It’s too bad because again I had been there before and was happy…but it was just for one night then. It is about .6 miles from the F train so that was ok. Not terrible but eh.

Great hotel! Great location, sleek, clean rooms and some parking available. Would stay here again.

I was nervous because of other negative reviews but our experience Saturday April 11- Sunday April 12th 2026 was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend hotel le bleu The room felt clean and was HUGE! We also got a balcony! The bathroom was very nice too. Literally NO issues with the room. Lots of sink space. Shower is European style without a door/ enclosed space so water kind of sprayed all over the floor from a shower…. But it’s okay. We have been to Europe a lot and are used to this. It’s annoying but not a big deal. Use a towel and wipe it up! Location: 10/10 + I love park slope and this was right near all the good stuff. And even a farmers market directly across the street Sunday AM. What a treat. I went on a morning run in prospect park and hit bagel pub later as well on 9th. Location is primo - check out Emmy squared pizza and Mexican terrace down the street. The 2 women at the front desk mid afternoon were kind and helpful in every way. We did early check-in at 1pm for $50, was worth it in my opinion but obviously not necessary. The young man at the front desk at night was also extremely helpful and kind. I had a bit of a crisis with my phone charger and he and the maintenance man (whose name I did not catch) were really really nice to me and tried helping me out. The maintenance man was so kind and helpful and made me feel safe and taken care of as a woman alone in the city. It ended up being a me problem but I would warn others to bring “authentic” high quality chargers. My Amazon off brand charger didn’t work at this hotel I had to go Nextdoor to staples to buy an Apple charger. Not sure what was going on…. But once I got the new charger it worked fine in the hotel. Who knows. Parking 10/10 - we got there and there were plenty of spots in the free lot open. It was a nice parking lot and spacious. There were spots available until about 7-8 pm I would say. Then it was filled. Get there earlier if you need parking. As a frequent park slope visitor I can confidently say public street parking is easy, free, and never a problem though, so it is not a big deal if you don’t snag a spot in the lot. This hotel offers FREE 12 pm checkout (subject to availability) and I got it no problem ! The guy at the desk at night was so nice and said yeah no problem and added it to the room. It was awesome. I had a lovely, slow, stress free morning checking out. TLDR; clean rooms , excellent staff, excellent location, free parking in a big lot. Next to all the good spots in park slope and RIGHT next to the subway into Manhattan etc. highly recommend - ignore the Karen’s and their negative reviews :)

Stayed here last week from Kentucky and the staff were extremely friendly. Room was clean, location was top notch. Not pictured but I had a nice view of the skyline as well.

Bait and switch. The manager was incredibly rude. I booked on a third party app, and when I arrived they forced me to pay double because of having an extra person than what the reservation listed. It was an honest mistake, but they charged me nearly $400 extra. The manager was constantly getting in arguments with other guests while we stayed. While the hotel itself is in a good location, avoid this place at all costs.

I wish I could leave ZERO STARS!!!!! I booked this hotel for one night , paid for the balcony room spent over $180 for one night & encountered BEDBUGS the picture shows the bed is still fully made never even got comfortable and they are lying saying they didn’t see anything and trying to deny my refund . I am livid and want all my money back including the incidental and the early check in fee.the balcony is unsafe and the ledge bar is BROKEN, the glass on the door to the balcony IS BROKEN! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY STAYING HERE , THEY ARE INFESTED WUTH BEDBUGS AND IS AN UNSAFE ESTABLISHMENT

I was skeptical with all the negative reviews. The guy at the front desk was friendly. The rooms were clean and modern. Seemed to be recently remodeled. I loved the shower. The only downside is the limited parking. Don’t plan on finding parking if you arrive late. There was strong stench of marijuana all the time. Don’t know where it was coming from. But was really strong. The price was good and close to city and subway.
