Aqualina Inn Montauk

Aqualina was a quiet, relaxing hotel with very clean rooms and well kept outdoor spaces. The pool was open and heated (we stayed in October) and was clearly maintained. I cannot overstate how convenient the location was- one block from the beach and one block from all the shops/restaurants/cafes. We never had to move our car!

Very cute (small) rooms but did the job. Very convenient location right by the beach and main town. Get a balcony room and enjoy lunch/dinner. Would stay again. 👍🏼

Nice small motel with a modern vibe and pool. Walking distance to beach and town. Would not have stayed here had I realized it was right across from a club that had banging music until 3AM, HENCE THE 2 STARS FOR LOCATIION.

This was our third stay at Acqualina. It's always an excellent experience.Clean, comfortable, nice sized rooms. Wonderful pool. Beach is right across the street. Beach towels , chairs and umbrellas included. Sebastian at the front desk is always a pleasure to deal with. We paid for an extended checkout so we could go to the beach and freshen up in the room for our drive home. There was unexpected electrical utility work that shut down power to the hotel during the time of our extended check out. This was in no way the fault of the hotel as they had no advance warning of the work. The room lost power for several hours, so no electricity and no AC. The hotel manager refunded the extended check out fee without question. Just another example of their superior service.

It’s a real shame that I’m having to leave this review. The first two nights were perfectly fine. We had a clean and nice room. The amenities were lovely, the pool area is fantastic, but we sadly found ourselves packing to leave two days into our four night trip. On Saturday morning, after coming back from breakfast, my friend and I went to relax in our room and there was a very bad smell lingering in our room and outside on the property. Apparently there was a septic tank trunk directly below our room, doing a sewage removal. You can’t even begin to image how horrendous that smell was. When we asked the concierge what was going on, she was very nice and offered her sincerest apologies. However, the manager came out and made it incredibly clear that it is not the property’s fault and there was nothing he could do to improve our condition. We explained we couldn’t stay in the room because of the horrid smell, and he simply told us to take it up with the city board. No offers to do something to make up for the condition, no reassurances that he would do what he could to make up for the fact we couldn’t actually be in the room we paid for, nothing. It was truly a shocking response from a hotel manager. Absolutely nothing he could do. I’m sorry but, seriously? Smelling a septic tank sewage removal on a Saturday morning was not what I paid to experience. Having worked in hospitality in restaurants and hotels for over 11yrs, this is the excuse of a manager who was not trained in guest experience. Anyone looking to stay there should be aware Sebastian is more concerned about money than he is about going above and beyond for guests in distressful situations. We had to rebook to another property to get away from the smell. It’s truly unfortunate because it’s otherwise a very nice property.

Stayed with my 7 year old daughter for a couple nights and we had a blast! Aqualina is located right in the heart of Montauk. Everything is walking distance: the beach, restaurants, shops, mini golf, festivals, and much more! I highly recommend staying here. Reasonable price and Sebastian and staff are extremely accommodating and pleasant. This is definitely my go-to Montauk hotel now and I might even be back in September. 5 stars and two big thumbs up!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍👍

Steps to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Amazing location. 2 min walk to the beach or town. Rooms were gorgeous, and had a nice pool as well. Sebastian, the manager, was very accommodating and made the entire experience all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be staying here again.
