The Clarendon Hotel and Spa

Great place for a great price. It seems recaptured but it is well done. I would give 5 but the toilet and shower don't fully work right. Needs a bit of maintenance.

I always read reviews before booking, just to get an idea of what to expect, although I still use my own judgment since experiences can be subjective. I was extremely pleased with my stay. I’ve been on a road trip through multiple states, and so far this hotel has been the best value for my money by far. The pool area alone, with the couches and overall atmosphere, was worth it. My room was super clean, comfortable, and up to date; nothing like some of the negative reviews I had read beforehand. Of course, I understand not every room may be in the exact same condition, but mine was definitely not subpar. The staff was amazing throughout my stay. There were no vending machines, but I was offered bottled water instead, which was perfectly fine. There was also plenty of parking available. The restaurant seemed fairly new, as the staff didn’t appear fully familiar with the menu yet, but that was a minor detail overall. I’ve paid much more for far less elsewhere. Super satisfied with my stay.

The neighborhood is sketchy, but the Hotel itself is decent. Comfortable beds, spacious, reasonable decor, great staff.

Great hotel with a mexican resturant and full bar and the nucest prettiest bartender. Breakfast outstanding. Ill be back for sure

Used to be a beautiful boutique hotel and now it’s anything but that.

I am very pleased with this place ! The gym had what I needed to get my work out in. The pool area was so great !! Loved the pool and hot tub The Colours and cabanas made it look so much nicer. It was nice and quiet. The staff were all so great and friendly! The only thing that needs to be updated is the sinks in the bathroom for better water flow Other than that I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back

Over two years ago I rated this hotel five stars, but that was under a different ownership. Since the corporate buyout, this place is a shell of what it was years ago. The rooftop was amazing, but that is inaccessible now. The rooms have many cosmetic issues, and look cheaply done. Also during the night, we could hear something crawling in the walls; it sounded like they were right behind the bed. It's convenient for the location, but the fun aesthetic that originally drew me to this hotel is gone.

So I booked a 2 bedroom suite for 2 nights here. In addition got a cabana and a few additional day passes off of resort pass. The pool area is nice and the cabana was cool. The staff were nice and helpful. The issues I had were (a) room not ready at check in and I was asked what time I wanted to check in via their app. I arrived 10mins after my selected time and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. (b) rooms are old and in addition were not stocked with enough towels for the number of guests on the reservation. TV required an additional remote which is stored at the front desk so we couldn’t stream on all available apps as the front desk would have had to continuously come up to the room to update the settings (c) no shower gel or shampoo stocked in the dispensers in the shower. When I requested more shower gel a paper cup was left on the side of the tub with shower gel in it and labeled as such. For this establishment to be labeled & advertised as a resort & spa it is a bit strange to me the rooms were not up to standard. Staff did what they could and again were very nice but the overall stay and accommodations are sub par. I won’t be back
