The Venice branch of Out of the Closet, a thrift chain run by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, is located at 214 Lincoln Boulevard, just shy of the Santa Monica border. It's a small shop, with a turnover of donated clothing, books, and housewares that's pretty rapid. You won't find a plethora of reviews for this location - it's got far fewer than the bigger LA stores. Some Out of the Closet stores offer free HIV testing, so it's worth asking the staff if they do it here. Check outofthecloset.org for hours before you go. Venice Beach is a 15-minute walk west.

Nice little Thrift Shop. The store it was fairly clean and had lots of items to sort through. I didn't find anything on my visit but would go back to checkout stock again. Parking is easy and free at the plaza across the street
