This is the Venice branch of Out of the Closet, the thrift chain run by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. It's at 214 Lincoln Boulevard, near the Santa Monica border. Proceeds go to AHF's HIV care work. Stock is donated clothing, books and housewares, and it turns over quickly. This branch has far fewer reviews than the bigger LA stores, which suggests a smaller shop.
Some Out of the Closet stores have offered free HIV testing, so ask staff whether this branch does. There are no hours on file, so check outofthecloset.org first. Venice Beach is about a 15-minute walk west.

Nice little Thrift Shop. The store it was fairly clean and had lots of items to sort through. I didn't find anything on my visit but would go back to checkout stock again. Parking is easy and free at the plaza across the street
