Juniper Botanical Bar

Juniper Botanical Bar is a queer-owned cocktail bar that opened in South Tacoma in late 2025, describing itself as "cozy, kitschy, and queer." Founded by owner Al McKee, it pours botanical-forward cocktails in a relaxed, plant-filled room and hosts queer club nights and community gatherings. It's family-friendly in the early evening and turns 21+ later at night, giving South Tacoma a welcoming LGBTQ+ space away from the downtown bar strip.
