East Hotel

Great flexible service, good restaurants, location

Great location. Nice open foyer the room was nice too even had a little deck 😊

East Hotel is fantastic. The rooms are very generously sized, clean, well equipped and reasonably priced. Parking is easy and comparatively affordable. Check in and out is efficient. The room service options come from the great restaurants downstairs (delicious and not prohibitively expensive) and the 12pm check out time felt like a rare luxury. Will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff

Lovely hotel with really lovely staff. Great rooms and location super easy parking. Donut package was well worth it

I've had to change this review as this place has gone down hill a bit. The toilet paper is beyond horrible. It is so cheap and nasty, I think it is single ply, but also so rough and abrasive, it actually hurts to use. The remote in our room doesn't work and the beds are rock hard. We got a trundle bed that literally squeeks even if you are just breathing. Go to the Knightsbridge instead.

Nice hotel. Great location. Nice balcony, out of the city, but has parking, and a close walk to shops and the nearby sport stadium. A nice pub just across the road that is busy always, book if you want a table early. The cafe on the ground floor, not part of the hotel, does not open till 7am, so if you have an early start you cannot get a coffee or breakfast, the Cafe says on the website open at 630am, but it does not open till 7am. This was a negative for our group. If you plan to leave later then all is good.

Excellent.

A tasteful modern hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with a good layout and complementary wifi. Great bathroom design. I had a kitchenette as a standard room, so it would be easy enough to stay here for a few weeks with little effort. Only 4 stars for location because Canberra, it's a working town. Location is pretty central.

An excellent hotel if you're looking for a self-contained romantic weekend away. We stayed in a Luxe One Bedroom Apartment, which was spacious enough and comfortable. We had pizza at Agostinis and cocktails at Joe's Bar, and the service, fare and atmosphere were great. We didn't get an opportunity to eat at Azuma Den, but our room was above their kitchen and the smell of Korean BBQ honestly felt like a perk. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, adding in little touches here and there that made our stay feel special. The hotel itself is across the road from a pub and bottle shop, and Manuka and Kingston are a short enough walk that you can easily get everything you need to make your stay feel homely. In our case, booze and ingredients so we could have cocktails in the bath (though you will need to bring your own shaker). Definitely get a room with a spa bath, though it's worth noting that you can't really fit three people in it comfortably, even if you all know each other very, very well. Overall an excellent hotel to stay at. We will definitely return again.
