The honest answer: Örebro has no gay bar or gay club. We checked Swedish and English sources in October 2026, including QX and local press, and found none. Older pages (ours included) called a handful of Stortorget-area bars "LGBTQ+ friendly", but we couldn't find a single independent source for that, so we took them off this list.
Klubb Homo
The one queer night out is Klubb Homo, a club night for everyone that QX and Nerikes Allehanda covered when it launched on 1 March 2025 at Boulebar on Slottsgatan. Its founders planned four or five nights a year, with schlager, rock and indie. The latest edition we could confirm was on 9 May 2026 at Hamnplan1. The venue moves, so check Klubb Homo's Facebook page or Tickster before you plan a weekend around it. Boulebar also hosts the official party during Nerike Pride.
RFSL's Tuesday café
The most reliable weekly meet-up is the Tisdagscafé at RFSL Örebro, Västra Nobelgatan 19: Tuesdays 20:00–23:00, 18+, free coffee and food, board games and hosts who look after newcomers. It's a café, not a bar, but it's where local queer people actually meet.
For a real bar scene
Go to Stockholm, about two hours by train. Check the last train back before you go.
