Nerike Pride (Örebro Pride)

Nerike Pride is Örebro's Pride week, organised by RFSL Örebro and Örebro Rättighetscenter. It replaced Örebro Pride, whose association ran the festival from 2012 until it closed in January 2019. The week mixes talks, parties, rainbow masses and a parade. The 2024 parade went from Virginska gymnasiet to Stadsparken on 25 August. In 2025 the official parade was cancelled for lack of resources and a private march went ahead on 30 August. The 2026 edition ran from 31 August to 6 September, and the parade left Wadköping at 13:00 on Saturday 5 September for RFSU Pridetorget on Våghustorget, with the party at Boulebar. Organisers have announced 16–22 August 2027; the programme wasn't published when we checked in October 2026.
