On one of the most beautiful and central streets of Sao Luis, in an old building. Spacious and romantic room. Abundant breakfast. We were able to check in even in the middle of the night.

A lovely, typical hotel in the city center, unfortunately very noisy as there are concerts every Friday right behind it, until 3 a.m. – practically impossible to sleep. So don't choose this hotel on Fridays. The rooms are nice and fairly comfortable, despite the fact that the beds don't have box springs (thick wooden planks). They need renovation in places. The air conditioning is good and efficient, but not very adjustable (fan speed?). There are quite a few stairs, and the hotel isn't accessible by car. The street is cobblestone, so it's not at all convenient when getting off a plane at 2 a.m. with suitcases... The room for four is ideal for a stopover. The breakfast is decent, nothing special, and the staff is friendly, but nothing more. For a stopover, yes, otherwise... no!

Sleeping in a guesthouse, one of the old mansions of São Luís, on Rua do Giz, in the historic center. High ceilings, original wooden beds, but with spring mattresses, and a balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast at the old tables facing the mansion's inner garden – pure nostalgia.

Very bad service.

I stayed there in 2010 when traveling alone. The tree-lined central courtyard left such a pleasant feeling of nostalgia that I'll be bringing my wife back in 2026. (I'll come back to revise this review)

In the old town of São Luís. Quite well located if you appreciate this dirty and unfortunately dilapidated old town. But the staff is nonexistent, the atmosphere impersonal. The room's amenities are completely inadequate for the price. We didn't like it at all. The value for money is deplorable. Avoid at all costs!

Very beautiful and spacious room with lovely wooden parquet flooring. Well located!
