Everything was excellent! The staff's attention, the cleanliness, and the exquisite food!

Terrible reception service The service throughout our stay was curt and bordered on disrespectful (4 days, 3-day stay). The reception service was AWFUL. The room included a garden view and a glass of champagne or wine. We requested both, and they never arrived or offered anything. We asked about several things, including road conditions, and the response was curt and evasive, telling us to ask elsewhere. We complained one afternoon because the Wi-Fi wasn't working. (It wasn't our problem since we tested it before contacting them), and the response was more or less, "It works for me at reception." (It was obvious the receptionist had no idea how a Wi-Fi network works with a hotspot.) But she did nothing. Restaurant: exquisite food and exquisite service. Amenities: coffee and water available, a nice touch. Location: very good location. Breakfast: very good and they replenish the food very frequently.

The location isn't exactly central, but a 10-minute walk takes you to the street with restaurants. The hotel is very clean, with a nice room in a very unique setting. The breakfast buffet, served from 7:00 a.m., is very good and varied. Water for refilling bottles or flasks is very useful, as is coffee/herbal tea and herbal teas.

An amazing stay at Casa Don Tomás. A beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful hotel with excellent service from all the staff. The breakfast and restaurant were very good. We felt right at home. Highly recommended for enjoying San Pedro de Atacama. We would definitely return!

Excellent location, super close to the town center!!! The hotel is delightful, super cozy, and they washed our clothes every day after the tour. The staff is super helpful! We had a great experience at the hotel!!! The double bed was HUGE!! The only minor point that didn't bother us too much is that the shower was quite small and the bathroom would get all foggy afterwards and wouldn't come off; we had to clean it with a towel, but that was NOTHING compared to the great experience we had!!!! In Atacama, it's very important to choose good accommodation; the tours are super tiring, early in the morning, and you get exhausted! Being in a place where the bed is super comfortable, the staff is helpful, the room is clean, etc., makes all the difference!!! The price of the hotel restaurant is the same as the restaurants in the town center.

The property is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The cleaning staff cleans the property at all hours, and it's always spotless. Room cleaning is also excellent and always punctual. The front desk staff is always very helpful and friendly; they helped us with unexpected issues and quickly resolved them. The restaurant/breakfast staff is truly kind; they're all lovely and attentive...they always pay attention to all their guests and make you feel pampered. The food is delicious and the price is below the average for San Pedro de Atacama. The quality is excellent, the ingredients are fresh, and the chef's menu is varied and suitable for everyone. The same goes for the lunch menu, which is different from the dinner menu for convenience. After all, we're in the middle of a desert, so ingredients arrive at varying intervals, and not everything is always available. Yet, no one at the property makes you feel like you're lacking anything. For excursions before breakfast time, there's a takeaway service where, as always, nothing is missing: hard-boiled eggs, sandwiches, cookies, and fruit juice. But the real treat is the 24-hour service of tea, herbal teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk, free of charge, something no hotel ever offers. The coffee is delicious, and the selection of herbal teas is excellent. Unlike many places in San Pedro, there's always hot water for washing and heating; many facilities absolutely don't have these amenities in San Pedro. Overall, a comfortable facility with truly excellent and friendly staff!

A very nice, well-maintained property, friendly staff, good Wi-Fi, shaded parking, 24-hour coffee/tea bar, and free water bottle refills. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, and breakfast was also good. San Pedro is just a few minutes' walk away. The rooms are sparsely furnished, but it was warm at night. The bathroom was tiny, but there was hot water. Our room was very clean and cleaned daily. However, our friends discovered a bed bug. They were immediately given a new room, and we could see that it had been thoroughly cleaned. We didn't try the pool; it was on a separate property, but it also belongs to the hotel. Pool towels could be borrowed from reception. Breakfast was served from 7:00 AM. If you needed to leave earlier, you just had to let them know the evening before, and they would prepare a packed lunch. Unfortunately, the chocolate cookie contained walnuts, even though we had explicitly mentioned the allergy. Luckily, we had an epinephrine auto-injector with us. Unfortunately, you can't get a new pen in either the pharmacies or the Centro de Salud in San Pedro; you have to travel a full 90km to Calama.

The hotel is an oasis in the desert. It offers wonderful infrastructure. It also has excellent service and a restaurant with haute cuisine dishes. A dream. I was there in October 2025 and I recommend it!

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel, a 5-minute walk from San Pedro's main street. The location is truly quiet, and the staff are friendly and always available. The room is clean and functional, with good air conditioning. You have to wait a long time for hot water in the shower (it's a shame about the waste of water, which isn't abundant in places like this). The bar offers excellent free espresso coffee, available 24/7. Breakfast is plentiful, and the lunch menu isn't extensive, but it's excellent.

A good standard of accommodation in Atacama. Practical and convenient. Secure parking and a first-rate restaurant.
