VERS — queer bar, cocktails, snacks, and events

Best gay bar in NYC! Love the variety of cocktails and the atmosphere! The staff were all super friendly, and excited to visit here again when I’m back in town. Definitely recommend the piano party on Mondays.

The first few times I visited Vers it was awesome. This time sucked. It wasn't even very busy, and I still stood at the bar waiting for service for over 5 minutes before I walked out. I don't know if I'm just not hot enough, or they now expect people to yell at them to get service. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'll definitely give them another shot, but not going to expect much, unfortunately.

Atmosphere is great and they host some wonderful live performances. I highly recommend this place!

Gay bar with good prices on drinks and beers (7 dollars). The service from the guys is truly exceptional! The food is very spicy, Indian style. The acoustics need improvement; people talk very loudly (they shout!) and it's a bit annoying.
