Epic Sana Hotel (Luanda)
Epic Sana is a large five-star business hotel in central Luanda, run by the Portuguese Sana group. It's a mainstream international hotel, not a gay venue, and we have no confirmed LGBTQ+ programme or nightlife here. Older listings that called it a gay bar or club were wrong.
Angola decriminalised same-sex relations in 2019, but social attitudes remain conservative and there is almost no visible scene. International chain hotels like this one are generally a safe, discreet base. Book through the official website and expect business-hotel prices.

I was there for a kizomba afterwork session at Switch Dance Club. A very nice place to be, but the music volume was too high.
