De Waterkant 是開普敦的同志村，由幾條鵝卵石小巷串連起數棟修復過的18與19世紀小屋，位於市中心與 Green Point 之間。南非後種族隔離時期的憲法禁止基於性傾向的歧視，De Waterkant 因此在1990年代成為本市同志社交圈的核心。在此之前，它與鄰近的 Bo-Kaap 一樣，是一個因種族隔離時代強制遷移而受影響的多元混居社區。
酒吧、夜店和民宿主要分布在 Somerset Road 及沿山坡而上的一帶街道。如今這裡的同志夜生活規模較以往縮小且更為分散，但仍是開普敦最主要的同志夜生活聚集地。夜間請使用合法登記的計程車或共乘服務。
