Wonderful stay at Blackheath Lodge! The service was exceptional, especially thanks to Riano, Simon, and Godfrey, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!

We just spent two nights as a family at this hotel, which is a real gem, with refined decor, full of charm, and spotlessly clean. The bedding was perfect. Special mention goes to all the staff who were incredibly attentive and caring. We highly recommend it for a stay in Cape Town in a well-located and safe place.

The Perfect place to stay! We have spent 5 nights in the appartement 16. Here you feel at home. Team is Lovely, breakfast is wonderfull. It is a very cosy place near sea point. Love it!

We stayed here in late July with our whole family. This was such an amazing experience! We were greeted by friendly staff throughout our stay; I wish I could remember everyone’s names, but the three that I can currently remember are: Riano, Sean, and Denzel. 10/10 would absolutely comeback again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Blackheath Lodge. Staying here was one of the highlights of my trip to South Africa, and the team made my 40th birthday more special than I could have ever imagined. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like family. The staff knew my name, upgraded my room, and went far beyond what I ever expected. On my birthday, they surprised me with "40" balloons, sang to me, and treated me to thoughtful birthday surprises. It was such a heartfelt gesture that I'll never forget. A special thank you to Simon at the front desk, who was absolutely exceptional. He always greeted me with a warm smile, helped me navigate Cape Town, offered fantastic recommendations, and made arranging activities effortless. Whether it was organizing my helicopter flight over the Cape Peninsula, pointing me toward the city's must-see landmarks, or simply making sure I had everything I needed each day, he consistently went above and beyond. The entire team genuinely cared that I had the best possible experience. They celebrated with me, helped take photos to capture the memories, and made traveling solo feel like I was a part of something much bigger. Beyond the incredible hospitality, the lodge itself is beautifully unique, impeccably maintained, and perfectly located for exploring Cape Town. Every morning started with a fantastic breakfast, and every evening felt like coming home. I've stayed in many wonderful hotels around the world, but Blackheath Lodge stands out because of its people. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to detail transformed what was already a dream vacation into one of the most memorable trips of my life. Thank you to everyone at Blackheath Lodge for making my milestone birthday unforgettable. I truly hope to return one day.

This place was our meeting point for a tour they were not connected to. When my wife and I arrived to wait for the bus, we were warmly welcomed by Simon. With a smile, he invited us to come in and have a seat then proceeded to offer us coffee and if we wanted something to eat. You can just imagine how very grateful and happy we were with Simon’s genuine hospitality. Our tour bus arrived early and with little time to transfer our coffee into takeaway cups, he trusted that we would return the ceramic cups at the end of the tour. The room he seated us in was very cozy, welcoming and comfortable. Other employees also walked by and greeted us with smiles and good mornings.

Percfect👌 Beyond expectations

Fantastic spot with exceptional service! We arrived late from the airport with our luggage lost and the kindly staff scrounged together some toothbrushes and other essentials for the night. The included breakfasts were delicious with both a cold buffet and made to order hot items, and the waitstaff were all very friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have our family of 5 staying in the Villa Gareloch. The villa was so lovely - I was disappointed we didn't have more downtime to enjoy it. The hotel was walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops along Main Road.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and furnished with great attention to detail. The breakfast was also outstanding and left nothing to be desired. A particular highlight during the South African winter was the evening hot water bottle service. Coming into a pleasantly pre-warmed bed after an eventful day in Cape Town was an exceptionally thoughtful touch that delighted us every single night. Such thoughtful details make all the difference between a pleasant and an unforgettable stay. Our heartfelt thanks go to the entire team at Blackheath Lodge.
