Midsumma 是墨爾本的酷兒藝術與文化節，自 1988 年起在南半球夏季期間舉行為期三週的活動，場地涵蓋劇院、藝廊、俱樂部及戶外空間。它更像是一個附帶驕傲遊行（Pride March）的藝術節，而非單純為期一週的遊行慶典。根據其 2024-25 年度報告，在 22 天內共舉辦了 213 場活動，累計入場人次達 285,958；此數據統計的是門票與入場次數，並非獨立個人數。
三個重要日子構成了節目主軸。Midsumma Carnival 於某個星期日揭開festival序幕，當天提供免費的戶外市集、舞台表演與野餐活動。由社群主導的 Pride March 則在兩週後沿著 St Kilda 的 Fitzroy Street 舉行；2026 年 Midsumma 公布的遊行人數超過 7,000 人。最後一個星期日的 Victoria's Pride 街頭派對為整個 festival 畫下句點。在這之間約有 200 場演出、座談會、俱樂部之夜和展覽，包含免費與售票活動，完整節目單將於十一月底發布。遊行團隊的報名則於九月開放。
一旦節目單發布，請立即預訂演出門票，因為小型場地的歌舞秀（cabaret）和劇場表演往往迅速售罄。墨爾本一月的天氣可能在短短一週內從溫和轉為熱浪，因此請準備應對兩種氣候的衣物。澳洲網球公開賽（Australian Open）通常佔據一月後半段，這會推高 CBD 和 Southbank 的酒店價格；St Kilda 和內城北區則是參加遊行和閉幕派對的理想住宿地點。
上一屆 festival 於 2026 年 1 月 18 日至 2 月 8 日舉行，其中 Pride March 安排在 2 月 1 日。2027 年的日期已正式公布：2027 年 1 月 17 日至 2 月 7 日，Carnival 於 1 月 17 日舉行，Pride March 於 1 月 31 日，而 Victoria's Pride 則在 2 月 7 日。Midsumma 表示完整節目單將於 2026 年 11 月 24 日發布，那正是開始預訂的關鍵時刻。
