Orinam

Orinam is an all-volunteer LGBTQIA+ collective in Chennai that has been active since 2003. It runs orinam.net, a large bilingual archive in English and Tamil covering coming out, health, law and family. It is also among the groups behind Chennai Rainbow Pride and the Reel Desires queer film festival. Its work is peer support, advocacy and cultural events, not a walk-in centre. Get in touch through the website, which also lists support contacts and the dates of current events.
