Fairy Taipei

Fairy Taipei is a gay bar on the third floor of a building in Lane 49 off Zhongxiao East Road Section 4, in Da'an District. This is Taipei's East District, the department-store and nightlife strip around Zhongxiao Dunhua and Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT stations, rather than the Red House cluster in Ximending where many of the city's gay bars sit. Like a lot of Taipei bars it is up a flight of stairs with nothing much at street level, so look for the building number. We do not hold confirmed opening hours; most bars here get busy late, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Check the Facebook page for current nights before heading over.
