Connections Bar is a small gay bar on Silom Soi 4, the short lane that has been the centre of Bangkok's gay bar scene for decades. It's next door to The Stranger Bar, and reviewers mention friendly staff, decent prices and a relaxed mix of locals and tourists. It's open daily from 17:00 to 02:00. The soi has outdoor seating and gets crowded from about 21:00, when people move between bars along the lane. It's a good place for an early drink before the clubs.
