Patong Beach

It’s a good beach but too crowded. We were in Phuket for 6 days and went to the beach almost every day. There are small stalls outside also a public toilet. I would prefer Kamala beach over this because it is more emptier and cleaner. We used to go for walks in the evenings from Bangla street to our hotel which was near the beach and it was so pleasant especially in the night.

Beach with a huge bay full of tourists, a huge sandy area for those who like to walk. More towards the center with water sports and many places to rest. In Phuket, Patong is one of the busiest beaches I have ever seen day and night, it is very worth visiting for those on vacation.

My Way Travel arranged a 2-week trip in Thailand for us, including Patong Beach. We really enjoyed our time here - beautiful beach, lively atmosphere and plenty to see and do.

Beautiful and wonderful though the weather was rainy and stormy

Gets very busy very quickly, lovely beach very clean. Lots of cheap sun beds to hire for the day, in which you can leave and come back to if you want to grab something to eat. Can buy drinks without moving from your sunbed. Great beach for people watching, swimming, abseiling, jet skis in certain areas. Lovely sunsets although it very crammed with people not like it used to be. If you want a more romantic beach with less people this is not the place for you.

Patong Beach was one of the highlights of our trip to Phuket and an unforgettable place to visit. My boyfriend and I loved the beautiful long stretch of golden sand, crystal-clear water, and the incredibly lively atmosphere that makes Patong one of the most famous beaches in Thailand. The beach is perfect for swimming, relaxing, sunbathing, and enjoying a wide range of water activities. We especially enjoyed walking along the shoreline during sunset, when the sky turned beautiful shades of orange and pink, creating a truly magical view. What makes Patong Beach unique is that it offers both relaxation and entertainment. During the day, the beach is full of energy with jet skiing, parasailing, beach cafés, and tropical drinks. In the evening, the area comes alive with fantastic restaurants, markets, live music, and the famous nightlife of Bangla Road. There are countless dining options nearby, from delicious Thai street food to excellent seafood restaurants and international cuisine. Everything is conveniently located, making it easy to spend an entire day enjoying the beach and the surrounding attractions. The atmosphere is vibrant, exciting, and full of life, yet it is still possible to find quieter sections of the beach if you want to relax. The location is excellent and serves as a perfect base for exploring other parts of Phuket. We highly recommend Patong Beach to anyone visiting Phuket. It offers stunning scenery, beautiful sunsets, exciting activities, great food, and unforgettable entertainment. It exceeded our expectations and was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Thailand. Absolutely fantastic and highly recommended!

Patong Beach is one of my favorite places to catch the sunset in Phuket. It’s the perfect spot to grab a cold beer or a glass of wine, sit back, and just enjoy the view. Even though Patong is usually known for being busy, the beach feels surprisingly relaxed in the evening. It’s a great place to slow down, watch the sun go down, and end the day with a peaceful vibe.

It is a shame how such a beautiful place can deteriorate!! I do not recommend it for Spaniards, the atmosphere is for Russian, Chinese, and Malaysian tourists, the Thai people are "10" kind, polite, and always with their magnificent smile, and if you need help they will offer it to you with kindness. There are many good restaurants of all prices. At nightfall the atmosphere transforms, for the better in my opinion. You have a lot of variety of entertainment. Enjoy Thailand, its food and its people!!!!

The beach is beautiful and clean. It rained and the water was a little cloudy, but it was clear the next day. The view was great and there were lots of foreigners. Phuket has many beaches, but I like Patong Beach. It's not far from my accommodation, and there are food stalls selling papaya salad and grilled fish on the beach that aren't expensive. There are tables to sit and eat, or you can go to the beach near the football field. I recommend it.

I really loved my time at Patong Beach! The atmosphere was so vibrant and enjoyable. I had a fantastic time relaxing and taking in the stunning scenery. It's definitely a place everyone should visit, and I'm already looking forward to my next trip back.
