Café Twilight is a gay café-bar on Nieuwstad, just off the Theaterplein and a few minutes from the Meir shopping street. It's a daytime-into-evening place rather than a club: coffee and beer, a mostly male but mixed crowd, and a large terrace that fills quickly on sunny afternoons. Travel Gay notes Eurovision watch parties with drag hosts. Patroc's 2026 listing gives Wednesday to Sunday from mid-afternoon (from 11am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday), until 2am on Friday and Saturday; it's closed Monday and Tuesday. Check its Facebook page for events. Google rates it 4.4 from about 340 reviews.

Twilight is a nice, cozy bar with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The chandeliers add a unique charm to the space, making it feel inviting and stylish at the same time. They have a solid beer selection, which was a great plus. When we arrived, we realized it’s a gay bar, and everyone was very respectful and friendly, creating a comfortable environment. The bartender provided excellent service throughout. It’s a small, intimate place, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable drink.
