Great hotel! Very centrally located.

The passing of Queen Elizabeth, Russia attacks Ukraine, the World Cup in Qatar, Taylor Swift shatters records, Harry Styles conquers the world, Beyoncé brings back club culture with Renaissance: and then the Odyssey hotel group had the courage to open the Autograph hotel in Antwerp, I think after years of renovation. They have been quite careful with the historical elements in the hotel, which is valuable. They put me in room 134. A room style that you could call minimalist, but it actually has everything you need. And a bathrobe, a shoehorn, coffee and water in the fridge. Bed completely fine, slept well. Bathroom okay, could use a bit more light, a gigantic bathtub. The soap pumps are an annoyance. I have stayed in various hotels (8) over the past few weeks. At every hotel, one of the pumps was defective or didn't work at all. I don't understand why a better solution hasn't been found for that by now. The reception staff are nice and walk a bit with you to explain where breakfast is held, and where the restaurant and the elevator are. It is a historic building. There are rooms and spaces in many places; the alcoves in the rooms are also beautifully decorated. I was there at a time when the weather wasn't suitable for the inner courtyard, which is a shame, as it is a beautiful spot. Breakfast has an extensive selection and there is a menu for various egg dishes; absolutely fantastic. The regular Wi-Fi network wasn't working, but with the help of the reception I was given another local network and then, to my relief, it worked. It felt like a large but pleasant hotel to me; I enjoyed my stay. You can park under the hotel in the Qparking. The location is of course also great; you can walk everywhere easily. It is all quite convenient.

Passing by your hotel, we decided to stop for an aperitif. The interior is beautiful. We ordered two white wines (€32.00) which were accompanied by extremely spicy little biscuits. A very poor choice with the wine. We finished our glasses and were immediately asked if we wanted anything else. "Not at the moment," we were told. Our glasses and the biscuits were immediately removed. We felt like we had to leave quickly. The young man at the till must have called for backup because he couldn't say "€32" in French. We will never come back for a drink, dinner, or a stay. The service was unacceptable.

Great stay in perfectly located hotel. Nice and modern bar, good restaurant and helpful staff. Would stay again.
