Best Western Plus Aldhem is a mainstream, gay-friendly hotel in Grobbendonk, in the Kempen countryside east of Antwerp. It is a modern building about 1.4 km from Bouwel railway station, and it works best as a base for drivers, business guests or anyone visiting the area's parks and castle estates such as Domein Le Paige and the Hidrodoe science centre. Rooms come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, and some have balconies. Breakfast is a buffet, there is a French-leaning restaurant and a bar, and the spa area has an indoor pool and hot tub. For Antwerp's gay bars, take the train from Bouwel; the ride is roughly half an hour.

Super unfriendly lady at the front desk. I will never set foot in here again. Her friendliness is just as bad as the state of the hotel!!! What kind of "reception" was this? Do you want to attract customers or drive them away?
