Hotel LION is a simple mainstream hotel on Knyaginya Maria Luiza Boulevard, near Lions' Bridge at the northern end of central Sofia, listed as gay-friendly. Rooms are plainly furnished, Wi-Fi is free and there is a café-bar on site. Google reviews average 4.1 from about 1,150 ratings. Sofia Central Station and the bus station are a short walk north, and the Lavov Most metro stop is next to the hotel, with the Banya Bashi mosque and central sights about 10 to 15 minutes' walk south. The boulevard is busy, so ask for a room away from the street if you sleep lightly.

The rooms are spacious, clean, have everything you need. The staff is attentive and friendly. The location is brilliant - next to the metro, 500 meters to the ultracenter. The breakfasts are wonderful! You can choose a dish and a drink and they are tasty and filling. Personally, I didn't have enough parking. The hotel itself doesn't have it, nor do the partner programs. We were advised to just park wherever you can. Parking at the entrance is prohibited, the nearest paid parking is 2 blocks from the hotel.
