SOFS Boutique Hotel

The location is good and the reception and courtyard are nice. However the rest of the stay was poor. My room was squeezed into a small space with the stairs very steep. The bathroom was horrible. I asked for maintenance of the toilet and it was ot addressed. The sink was tiny such that one could not wash hands or face without spilling water on the floor and one's pants. The shower drain cover was not secured and was a safety hazard. The bed was comfortable. I will not return.

A charming boutique hotel in the atmospheric old “ Latin Quarter “ of Aarhus. Very friendly and welcoming owner and staff. Especially perfect for good weather days as there is a courtyard garden here where you can sit out and enjoy the sunshine ( or even have breakfast served here.) Bedrooms apparently are of different sizes but mine was painted in a classic style and comfortable. Breakfast is a help yourself buffet that is served in a beautiful quaint period room overlooking the quiet street. Lovely toiletries in the bathrooms add to the sense of well being here!

Cozy little hotel centrally located in Aarhus

Good location, helpful staff. Does not think the price, quality, and description match. Noise from the street and the upstairs neighbor. In hotels of that price range, there should be windows that are completely soundproof, as well as walls and doors. The hotel advertises extra services such as tickets to museums, but it couldn't be done anyway. It just needs the last thing to be able to call itself a boutique hotel!!!

It is the third time in a couple of years that I have stayed at SOFS Boutique Hotel, and I have been happy every time. It is the location and the sweet service that is important to me. And it's nice to be there. It feels a bit like coming home.

This review is for room 14, a large one in the front of the hotel. It is susceptible to a lot of road noise, has a very small bathroom, making it difficult to use, and has creaky floors. Otherwise the hotel is in a great location and staff is friendly. Staff offered to move us to a quieter, smaller room but could not refund the price difference. Hummm

Nice clean and cozy hotel with delicious courtyard and breakfast. Perfect location right in the center.

We stayed three nights at the Sofs Hotel with our two children. The hotel is very cozy and centrally located and has a cozy courtyard. Unfortunately our room was very worn out. The drain smelled bad when we used the sink. There was mold in the ceiling, a broken shoe shelf and no possibility of darking the window. In addition, we had an unfortunate experience with a link to a parking discount (submitted by Sofs) that did not work. We made the hotel aware of it as the first thing at check-in and could understand on the front desk that we were not the only ones who had experienced it. Unfortunately it never succeeded and the hotel has been totally helpless, so we ended up paying full price.

Nice stay at Sofs. Quiet and comfortable! In the middle of the Latin Quarter. Recommended.
