Copenhagen Pride takes place every August and is Scandinavia's largest Pride celebration. In 2026 the festival runs 8–16 August, with the main parade on Saturday 15 August drawing tens of thousands of marchers and hundreds of thousands of spectators; Rådhuspladsen becomes "Pride Square" and hosts a week of more than a hundred events. In 2021 the city co-hosted the historic Copenhagen 2021 WorldPride and EuroGames together with Malmö.
