Himmelreich is a cocktail bar on Simon-Dach-Straße in Berlin-Friedrichshain, open since 2003. The crowd is mixed and young: gay, lesbian and straight in roughly equal measure, which fits a street lined with bars and late cafés. It has an indoor smoking room and a large outdoor terrace that fills up in summer.
It opens daily from 17:00 (16:00 on Sunday) and runs until midnight early in the week, 01:00 midweek and 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. Wednesday has a happy hour. Google reviewers rate it 4.3 from over 600 reviews. Warschauer Straße S/U-Bahn is about ten minutes on foot.
