關於此地 Barist Restaurant & Gelateria

Barist is a restaurant and gelateria in the S-Bahn arches at Am Zwirngraben 13, a minute from Hackescher Markt in Mitte. It's a mainstream gay-friendly spot, not a gay venue. Reviews mostly praise the pizza and the gelato, with unusual flavours and generous scoops. Prices are mid-range and it holds a 4.6 Google rating from about 1,950 reviews. The outdoor seating gets busy in summer, and wasps are a known nuisance then. It's a convenient stop between Museum Island and the Scheunenviertel.

Came for a pizza and a few drinks and will never be returning. There was evidently a wasp problem as we were constantly bothered by them throughout our meal. One of them flew into my friend's relatively full drink and died. When we notified the staff, it was fished out with a fork and they refused to replace or discount the drink. When asked, the staff were rude and inattentive and said it was "not their problem". This place seems to be a tourist trap, so please do not bother coming.
