DoubleEye is a tiny, concrete-walled espresso bar on Akazienstraße in Schöneberg, Berlin. It is a mainstream café, gay-friendly like much of the district, known for a short menu built around two espresso blends, one milder and one stronger, and for the queue that often stretches out the door. There is barely any seating inside, so most people drink on the benches out front. It opens early on weekdays and Saturdays and closes around 18:00, and it is shut on Sundays. Nollendorfplatz and the gay bars of Motzstraße and Fuggerstraße are about 15 minutes' walk north, making it an easy morning stop.
