Kokott is a traditional workwear shop on Karl-Marx-Straße near Hermannplatz in Neukölln. It dates back to 1930, the Haß family took it over in 1952, and cousins of that family run it today. It sells real work clothing, including the Zunfthose, the corduroy carpenter's trousers that Berlin's gay workwear and fetish crowd picked up long ago.
It's a mainstream shop, not a gay shop, but a known stop for people after authentic gear. It's open Monday to Friday until 7pm and Saturdays until 4pm. U-Bahn: Hermannplatz.
