Hechelei

Hechelei is an event hall in a converted building of the old Ravensberg flax-spinning mill in Ravensberger Park, east of the centre. It's a mainstream venue for concerts, parties and conferences, not a gay bar, and we list it for one reason: the Magnus-Party. Magnus is billed as Bielefeld's biggest lesbian, gay and queer party. It runs twice a year, on 30 April and 31 October, from 22:00; the October 2026 line-up has drag DJ Carrie Gold and Jessica Gray, with tickets from about €16. On other nights, check the Hechelei programme, because queer events only happen here when an organiser books the hall.
