關於此地 Stereowerk
Stereowerk is a mainstream nightclub at Böcklerstraße 30, south of the old town. It isn't a gay club, and we list it for one reason: since 2022 it has hosted MenDance/WomenDance, the queer party that VSE volunteers have run since 1989, one of the oldest queer party series in Germany.
The city's LGBTIQ guide says MenDance/WomenDance runs about five times a year, from 22:00 into the early morning, open to queer people and allies. Dates are posted on facebook.com/mendance and vsebs.de. On other nights, Stereowerk's programme is ordinary club fare.

The staff are very friendly. The bar layout needs better organization. Most of the time, everyone works in the last third of the bar. At the last few events, they charged an extra €1 deposit for each drink, which was new to me and quite annoying. I'm only familiar with that at outdoor events. It could be considered an additional tip. Many people simply leave their empty bottles behind. But Stereowerk is okay, worth a visit.
