Brauhaus Reissdorf

The food was absolutely delicious. The waiter seemed a bit annoyed with us because we wanted ice cubes in our drinks, which was a shame. Otherwise, though, it was a fantastic place to stay with excellent food. There are also plenty of vegetarian options.

I'm in Cologne once a week. I quite like eating there because it's only 5 minutes from the hotel. The staff is generally nice, although one waiter barely gives you a chance to look at the menu. He also doesn't really know how to say "please" or "thank you." The others are friendlier. The schnitzel is recommended; the large portion is absolutely fine for the price. If you're not from the Rhineland, you'll need to get used to Kölsch. The unfiltered Kölsch is great, it tastes like beer. Overall, it's a great restaurant, even if the smell of cigarette butts occasionally drifts in from the outdoor seating area.

Food was very good, service terrible. Unfriendly, listless, and after the meal, the plates were left unattended on the table until closing time, even though the restaurant was only about 30% full.

Friendly waiters, excellent food. Would gladly come again!
