Rahmer See is a lake in Großenbaum, in Duisburg's far south, with an area used by naturists. gay-web.info and Planet Randy both list it as a gay cruising area in summer. It is a public place used by families and bathers, not a venue, and nobody runs or polices it for the scene. Sex in public is an offence in Germany (§183a StGB covers causing public offence), even though gay sex itself is fully legal. For somewhere private and legal, Gayworld's cinema in the Dellviertel or the gay saunas in Mülheim and Essen are the better choice.
