Heidesee is a bathing lake on the edge of the Doelauer Heide woods in the north-west of Halle (Saale). It is listed in German gay guides as a summer cruising and FKK (nudist) spot, with the shoreline, the bushes behind the beach and the car park as the usual meeting points.
By day it is a public lake used by families and swimmers, so keep things discreet and save any activity for quieter hours, away from paths and the main beach. Public-decency rules apply, and in summer the woods mean ticks and mosquitoes. Bring water and don't leave valuables in the car.
