Pigalle is a Schlager bar at Pfeifergasse 2a, a couple of minutes from the Lorenzkirche. Spartacus describes the crowd as mostly gay and lesbian, and Patroc lists it as a gay venue. The idea is simple: German Schlager and pop all night and a room that sings along.
It also hosted the CSD Pride-weeks political talk in August 2026. Listed hours are Wednesday to Friday 19:00–02:00 and Saturday 20:00–03:00. It's usually the busiest of the old-town bars late on a weekend. Google rates it 4.2 from about 180 reviews.

Horrible bar. 5,20€ for a beer and they simply refused to share the WIFI password. Just shit.

A special place. It’s somewhat small, not very big, but there’s a cozy, welcoming, almost family-like energy. It’s easy to find, just behind the walls of Nuremberg Castle. I’ve been there a couple of times and managed to have some really pleasant conversations. It’s a place to share anecdotes and experiences. I met a French guy — it’s very unlikely he’ll read this, but if you do read this, it would be really nice to talk with you again. A hug to everyone!!
