It is a mainstream, very gay-friendly package-holiday resort whose strip of bars, clubs and karaoke venues welcomes LGBTQ+ visitors but is not gay-identified, and the line-up changes every season. For a real Greek gay scene your nearest options are Athens (the Gazi district) and the gay island of Mykonos.
